Alchemy Villa Diodati necklace

A faded dark pewter Alchemy Villa Diodati necklace of a ragged, spreadeagled, swooping bat on a split, black curb chain, 17"/43cm overall, plus a 1½" extender chain.

Flitting through the silent candlelit darkness of the solitary, stormbound lakeside manoir, unknowingly, the creature gives rise to the birth of the darkest and greatest of legendary tales. At Villa Diodati in May of 1816, Byron, Polidori and Mary Shelley contrived the eventual creation of Frankenstein.

Designed and hand made in England in fine English pewter. This item is compliant to all jewellery regulations including EU REACH Directives and California Proposition 65.
